MINIMUM STANDARD OF EDUCATION FOR ENTRY INTO AN APPRENTICESHIP/ TRAINEESHIP
Apprenticeships and traineeships are not usually subject to minimum entry requirements relating to education levels. This is especially the case for apprenticeships or traineeships approved with qualifications contained in the relevant industry training package, unless the education levels are set in other government legislation or regulation.
A number of apprenticeships and traineeships may recommend certain levels of education that should be attained prior to entry into the apprenticeship or traineeship. These recommended entry requirements are not mandatory.
