School Based Apprenticeships

You may be able to start a School-Based Apprenticeship while you are still at school.  School-based Apprenticeships enable you to gain a vocational and technical qualification while completing your school studies.  Your career advisors and teachers will know if you are able to undertake an apprenticeship or traineeship while you are studying and can assist you in choosing the most suitable school subjects to support your chosen career.

Australian Technical Colleges

Australian Techncial Colleges cater for Years 11 and 12 sutdents who wish to complete their senior secondary study and start an apprenticeship whilst still at school (School-based Apprenticeship).  These Colleges are there to support students through both academic and trade training, with mentoring, career advice, business and employability skills.  For more information please go the following website www.australiantechnicalcolleges.gov.au.
