The primary activity of the QASA will be the provision of strategic skills information and advice to Government, focused on addressing the skill shortages and future skills demand of the industry.
This will encompass the development of strategic partnerships with industry and employers, engaging with all relevant stakeholders including training organisations to ensure that the best possible skilling and employment solutions are devised.
The Queensland Automotive Skills Alliance through its contractual arrangement with the Queensland Goverment administered by the Department of Education, Training and the Arts is committed to deliver the following products and services:
While the above products and services are a minimum requirement of the QASA, additional services and activities will be performed in an effort to exceed the expected deliverables/ outcomes of the Contract. It is the intention of the QASA to seek other sources of revenue to increase its' capacity, services and overall value to the automotive industry, Government and the community.
