Executive Officer - Paul Kulpa
Paul had studied business through the University of Southern Queensland with a Major in Marketing and since graduating has worked overseas and around the country dealing with government contracts and training systems also corporate business policy and procedures in training.
Paul has come into this position with an understanding that there is increasing pressure in vocational education and training to reduce the skills gap in the automotive industry. Whilst the current skills gap between the supply and demand for qualified people in the automotive industry is a concern Paul recognises that the alignment of training expectations with the needs of industry, in consultation with government, must be reduced to ensure the ongoing success of the industry.
The achievements of QASA has shown its value and commitment to drive change and respond to the Queensland Skills Plan. Paul is committed to continuing this professional and co-ordinated approach in line with all relevant stakeholders.
Paul's mission is to use his skills and positive business acumen to raise the profile of QASA further as a peak skills association and provide assistance to all levels in training and development within the automotive industry.
